Funeral Flowers as well as sympathy flowers are a common and respectful way to express condolences for the death of a loved one, a friend or a colleague. On these occasions, the timeless beauty of funeral flowers provides a unique opportunity to express these feelings and bring comfort to the bereaved. Funeral Flowers are an expression of love, sympathy and respect. They are a means of sharing the burden of grief, and they represent support for the bereaved. A funeral is a final farewell and a time to honor the departed and the mourners.
Flowers for Funeral has a language on its own. Your relationship to the deceased or the bereaved in many cases dictates the type of funeral tribute you may wish to send. The wreath, for example, represents eternity. Casket sprays, Coffin sprays and lid arrangements often symbolize children and grandchildren of the deceased. Sprays can be placed by the spouse, siblings, parents or children of loved ones. Wreaths placed at the end of the casket often come from nephews, nieces, children or grandchildren. Cross, Circular, square or heart shaped cushions are also a popular choice among funeral flowers used for close relatives.
Spearwood Florist offers a large range of funeral flower arrangement, funeral wreaths, funeral sprays, funeral sheafs, funeral posies and funeral tributes. When we process an order for a funeral, we always call the funeral director and arrange with them for the delivery time and date. Very often we are requested by the funeral director to deliver the flowers a day prior to the funeral if there is a wake or service. Funeral Flowers are delivered approximately 2 hours prior to the start of the funeral.
As many funeral arrangements require special preparation, please place your order as far in advance as possible. Some items shown in our wide funeral flowers collection are not available for same day delivery.
